BUFO MAKMAL

is a choreography/dance collective, working together in concept, production and representation of dance performances. Stefanie Fischer, Zoe Gyssler, Margarita Kennedy and Clea Onori founded Bufo Makmal in 2013 and consider themselves the heart of this dynamic group. Since 2015 Rosie Terry Toogood also forms part of the collective. Different backgrounds and experiences influence their common artistic process. A creative exchange emerges, which evokes composition layer upon layer, involving a movement language, which unites reputed opposites such as power and sensitivity. This developes a vocabulary rich in details and textures.
