Rosie Terry Toogood

graduated LIPA in 2011 gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Performing Arts. After LIPA and then working in Bollywood, India for 6 months. Rosie went to Israel to train with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and Yamit Kalef, Cullberg Ballet performing Rami Be’er’s choreography in Jerusulem and Kibbutz Ga’aton. Since moving to London Rosie has performed as a soloist for Nina Kov at Sadler's Wells Lilian Balis and for Léa Tirabasso’s Rosie in Wonderland. She has worked as a dancer for The Female Choreographers Collective’s The Experiment, Exzeb Dance Company, Joss Arnott, Rosie Whitney-Fish, Peter Groom and Jérôme Bel. Rosie has travelled in between San Francisco, Israel and Europe to collaborate and research for Dance Film projects, and Dance Theatre as well as her own choreography. Rosie is currently touring Léa Tirabasso’s duet Love Me Tender and TOYS, and will start Léa's new work this year. She formed part of the Collective Bufo Makmal since 2015, touring Into Pieces and ALL.ES with them before co-creating VIEL.ES in 2016.
